FAQs
Can you help me to understand if I might be neurodivergent?
I can. While a full medical diagnosis must be made by a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist, I provide a comprehensive non-medical diagnostic process to help you gain clarity on whether you might be Autistic, an ADHDer, or both. I can also help you to set up, and support you through the process of pursuing a full medical diagnosis should you wish to do so.
My child is neurodivergent. Can you support me to better understand their needs?
Absolutely. I love helping parents to better connect with their ND kids.
Do you provide counselling for Neurotypical people too?
I do. I am a qualified Social Worker and can provide services to the general public.
Do you work with children?
I work with ages 15 and above.
Do you provide in-person, face-to-face service?
I don’t. My expertise is in building deep connections in online environments.
Can I use NDIS funding for your services?
You can use your NDIS funds to pay for fees if your funds are self-managed or plan managed. Check with your NDIS provider to confirm.
Do you offer rebates through the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative?
At this stage, I do not.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may be charged in full unless it's an emergency.
What are your qualifications and memberships?
I have a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work (PhD), Bachelor of Social Work (Grad. Entry), Graduate Diploma of Professional Counselling, and a Bachelor of Arts. I’m a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and Autistic Self-Advocacy Network Australia and New Zealand (ASAN AUNZ).
