Counselling

Just you and me. A space where you can breathe, speak freely, and be heard.

Counselling is not about fixing you, because you're not broken. It's about holding space for whatever you're carrying: burnout, identity questions, grief, relationships, masking, or that deep feeling that the world doesn’t quite make sense. This is your time, and your space to feel seen, heard, and supported, exactly as you are.

All sessions are held online, using a secure platform and available Australia-wide. Whether you live remotely, prefer to access support from the comfort of home, or simply find online spaces easier to navigate, I’m here. I’ve developed deep skills in forming real, meaningful connections online because this is how I naturally connect with others the most authentically. If you’re a camera-on person, camera-off person, or if you prefer to use the chat box , you are welcome here, just as you are.

Supporting Neurodivergent Lives

A large part of my practice involves supporting neurodivergent people and families. Some of the areas we may explore together include:

  • Exploring the possibility that you may be neurodivergent (guided self-diagnosis)

  • Processing a recent diagnosis - emotionally, practically, and relationally

  • Understanding masking and supporting your unmasking journey (if safe for you)

  • Supporting you to identify and meet your neurodivergent child or family member’s needs

  • Finding ways to navigate a neurotypical world while staying true to yourself

  • Navigating challenges in education, workplaces, or healthcare

  • Making sense of friendships, family relationships, and community

I meet you wherever you are on your journey. Whether you're early in self-discovery, feeling overwhelmed post-diagnosis, or needing support to parent in a neuro-affirming way. I meet you wherever you are on your journey. Whether you're early in self-discovery, feeling overwhelmed post-diagnosis, or needing support to parent in a neurodiversity-affirming way. I’ve needed help with each of those experiences myself over the years and can help you to go on that journey in a safe, meaningful way.

Each counselling session is 50 minutes long. You set the pace and bring whatever’s on your mind.

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and your world. We’ll gently explore your needs and goals, what you’re hoping to get out of counselling, and collaboratively design a plan that feels meaningful and manageable. No pressure. Just space for you to begin where you are.

Guided Self-diagnosis Service

If you think you might be neurodivergent and would like guidance and support to figure this out, my Guided Self-diagnosis Service is here for you. Not everyone wants, needs or can wait for an expensive medical diagnosis. Through three sessions, we’ll explore together whether you are neurodivergent. In our first session, we’ll talk about your childhood experiences, from family relationships to schooling. In our second appointment, I’ll guide you through a number of online tests that are highly rated in our communities, and we’ll make sense of the results together. In our final session, I’ll support you while you decide if you are ready to self-identify and we’ll map out a process forward for you.

Understanding your neurotype shouldn't depend on permission from powerful gatekeepers. This is your identity and you have the right to explore, define, and claim it on your own terms.

An Approach Tailored to You

There’s no one-size-fits-all in this space. Every session is tailored to your unique neurotype, life experience, identity, and goals. I draw from a rich range of evidence-informed approaches, including:

  • Anti-oppressive and Critical theories

  • Strengths-based and person-centred frameworks

  • Mindfulness based practices

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Neurodiversity-embracing approaches

  • Critical disability and social justice theories

A Safe, Confidential, and Compassionate Space

This space is yours to feel supported, not judged. Seen, not evaluated. It’s a space where you are not expected to perform, explain, or be anything other than who you are. Confidentiality and trust are at the heart of this work. Every session is held with respect, care, and the understanding that healing happens in relationship, not in isolation.

I’m not here to tell you who you are or what to do. I’m here to offer deep listening, attuned support, and grounded guidance, alongside a range of practical resources, strategies, and therapeutic tools that we can adapt together as your needs evolve.

The First Step

If you’re feeling unsure, that’s okay. Starting counselling can feel like a big step. Let’s begin by getting to know each other in a FREE 15 minute introductory appointment.
